Are you looking for the ideal part-time summer job?  Have you ever dreamed of making your own work schedule?  Do you love the game of softball?  Do you want to stay in the game? Are you enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, and driven to succeed and want to be one of the best?  Do you have what it takes to not only “make the call” but “get it right”?

You can make your own work schedule during weekend tournaments which start Friday evening and end Sunday evening.  (morning / afternoon / evening or all day if you choose) Also weekday leagues (Monday thru Thursday)
start at 6:30 pm and the pay is $30.00 a game!

For those individuals interested in umpiring, USSSA offers a great opportunity to be involved in the game of softball in Nebraska which is supported by a strong local, regional and national organization.  USSSA is guided by national and regional clinics and their local organizations. New and veteran umpires are constantly learning and refining their game in the areas of field mechanics, positioning, rule interpretation and game control strategies in order to provide the best officiating possible for our tournament teams.

USSSA softball in Nebraska has planned another busy season for individuals interested in serving as a softball umpire. 

Our mission is to provide quality training to all umpires in order to promote
uniformity and professionalism.  Our goal is to encourage standardized umpiring mechanics, application of the strike zone, and handling situations.  
 
WE will be having 2 umpire clinics in Nebraska and 1 in Missouri:

 Lincoln -  Friday Feb. 1st from 6-9

Omaha - Saturday Feb. 2nd from 9-4
13517  "I" Circle Omaha, NE on February 2nd.

The cost is $75 to attend. 

At the Saturday clinic we will have Region 5 UIC Tony Coates here to talk about ruels, umpire apparel, etc.......Any umpire with less than 3 years experience it is "Strongly" encouraged thay you attend Saturdays session or go to the clinic in Missouri. All umpires must attend 1 of these 3 sessions. 

I need a head count for those individuals who are planning to attend either one of these clinics.   We offer an enjoyable clinic!  Umpires who attend this clinic during the current year and demonstrate proficiency will be given priority for state, national, and World Series tournament assignments.  Please encourage other umpires, coaches, managers and friends to attend. 
  
We are also having an umpire clinic in Missouri that will be put on by Region 5 UIC Tony Coates and all of our Regional UIC's.

Coach's are INVITED as well, NO CHARGE. The Fee covers if you are umpiring. This will be great for coach's to catch up on the latest rule changes ask a "FEW" questions, etc....I will be there the entire time and afterwards to answer any questions about USSSA, tournaments, etc.....Just need a head count so we can plan for tables and chairs.
